Disabled Veterans
The Workers at Liberty Cane are dedicated to the mission of “working to improve the quality of life of disabled individuals throughout the world.” In particular, we are deeply moved by the personal sacrifices that many of our men and women in uniform have undertaken to help make our world a safer place to live.
After interviewing over 100 wounded individuals who used the Liberty Cane during their rehabilitation at the US Army’s Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC we are thoroughly convinced that the Liberty Cane adds tremendous value in improving their quality of life. However, during this process our team was also made aware of their frustrations with the rehabilitation process because of the heavy financial pressures that the process was placing on their immediate families. We all know that the issue is a major challenge facing our nation today and to do our small part our team voted to make a donation to these families for each Liberty Cane that is sold!
Liberty Cane is happy to announce that each month we will donate 15% of our profits to those foundations receiving a 4 star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities.
